OUR HISTORY
GalaMundi was born out of one family's passion for improving the education of young toddlers and pre-schoolers in the small communities of the Galapagos Islands. Its name derives from our commitment towards bringing education from the Galapagos (Gala) to the rest of the world (Mundi).
Now, in its twelfth year of operation, GalaMundi continues to thrive and its impact has been felt in the numerous lives of the children under our care. The Galapagos Islands, known as one of the greatest natural wonders of the world, has a thriving community that helps support and nurture this wonderful oasis on our planet. In helping the community, we are helping future generations of leaders responsible for the stewardship and management of these enchanted islands. We continue to educate the future park rangers of these enchanted isles.
Its success has also prompted the founders to bring that same passion to the small mountain community of Flagstaff, located within the largest Ponderosa pine forest in the world in northern Arizona at an elevation of 7000 feet above sea level. GalaMundi, LLC. was formed to support our initiative and we have also secured a cozy space for 25 children.
